Well, it didn't go EXACTLY like that. But it was KINDA like that. Hey, I'm super excited for the boys in flannel as the next guy. Never got to see them in their '90s hey day, but geeez man. That's like saying I'm gonna go to the zoo, check out the flamingos, turn around and leave. Weak!
So, this is for my friend Nick, KJ, Douche. He needs some flavor in his life, god love 'em. And he needs to get laid. Maybe a weekend at Lollapalooza would do just the trick, and not just one lousy day!

Ok, in my defense, you're right in that the conversation "kinda" went like that. What i was trying to say is that I'd really like to see Pearl Jam and that is what is drawing me to Chicago (that and my friends Sig, Vydra and Cindy will be there!) Here are the other bands I hope to see while I'm there Saturday & Sunday; Clap Your Hands, The Roots, Regina Spektor, Hold Steady, YeahsX3 (cause you say I should) Snow Patrol (yeah, i know) Spoon (cause you say i should, although they'll be at VooDoo) Muse and Interpol all on Saturday. Some are playing at the same time so I'll be doing some serious running around, or I'll have to miss some cause they'll prob be in New York soon anyway. But I'll probably settle on Muse over Interpol becuase a) I'm a bigger fan of their music and b) i hear they put on an amazing show...can't wait for Muse, I'm with you. All of the Saturday music comes at the sacrifice of missing a Mets / Cubs game at Wrigley Field now that I'm a Mets fan. That was my original plan for Saturday, but I've decided to hang at Lolla instead. Sunday; Hell, I'll join you for Juliette and the Licks, I dig her, but Kinky, who were alot of Latin fun at last years VooDoo, is playing across the park at the same time so, they'll probably be a lot of hot latina chicks at that stage... Amy Winehouse, Kings of Leon (they are playing VooDoo so I'll see them twice and like it, great band) Modest Mouse, TV on the Radio (but I am seeing them this Sunday) and Pearl Jam...and what's this at the Kids Tent? Peter DiStefano and Perry Farell (doing Porno for Pyros songs for the little ones?) and the School of Rock Allstars featuring a "very special guest"? that sounds to me like Jack Black is making an appearance, and most likely freaking out the entire audience. But, maybe my time will be better spent trying to get laid in a city i've never been to...as Vydra as my wing-woman. I'll take that over Pearl Jam
